Benchmark · one model, one still

Grok 4.7 set a table in Blender.

One prompt. Delete the default cube. A table, about 1.6 metres wide. On it: a red metallic sphere, a blue glass cube, a small gold torus standing on edge. Light it so the materials read. Render 1280×720.

The whole terminal on the left, the whole Blender window on the right. About eight and a half minutes, sped up eight times. The cube stays fully in the viewport while it thinks. Then the camera view shows the finished table. The still under the video is the render it saved.

A wooden table with a red metal sphere, a blue cube, and a gold ring.

How each one did

Grok 4.7 xhigh

render

Blender 4.5.9 · MCP socket

It built the scene and saved a PNG and a blend file.

A table with four legs, a red metal sphere, a blue glass cube, a gold ring standing on the table, and a three-quarter camera.

This pass the glass reads and the ring sits on the table. The tape keeps the whole terminal and the whole Blender window. The still is the render.

I run little races like this most weeks. The club is where they get shared first.
